Late update, but since last time I've just been tweaking and testing ideas.

when the hive is touched (via hittest with the players movie clip) it falls and 2 smaller bees fly around causing more of a problem for chips and his balloons..

Experimenting with an 'arcade' style of game play, in this example having bees randomly flying up from the bottom of the screen which you have to avoid in order to stay afloat, and catch the randomly flying acorns coming from the side of the screen, see it in action in the latest Test Clip
